A new report has surfaced suggesting that AEW president Tony Khan has secretly signed several talents who haven’t yet been announced.
Tony Khan has been active in 2026, signing new stars to the promotion in rampant fashion. The company has already welcomed the Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz), Tommaso Ciampa, Jake Doyle (fka Jake Something), Zayda Steel, and, more recently, the IInspiration (fka the IIconics), to name a few. Moreover, the Jacksonville-based promotion has also seen the return of Andrade, who has had an immediate impact in the promotion’s main event scene. Now, a new report has suggested that Tony Khan has signed more stars secretly.
According to a report from Fightful Select, there are still “a number of talent” signed to AEW who haven’t yet been announced.
The Jacksonville-based promotion markets itself as a wrestling company built on the idea of being the place where the best wrestle, and in that image, the company has aimed to be more cerebral in its recruitment drive this year. Interestingly, the company has allegedly signed almost as many wrestlers in the first month of 2026 as it has in the entire 2025.
Tony Khan on signing more talent to AEW
In the same vein as the report above, Tony Khan spoke about signing new talent to the Jacksonville-based promotion. Speaking in an interview with 107.7 The Bone’s Baby Huey, the Head-Honcho of All Elite Wrestling stated that he is always assessing the market for top talent and that his promotion is where the best wrestle.
“I am constantly evaluating the market and scouting for fantastic wrestlers if they’re available to join AEW. And (All Elite Wrestling’s) where the best wrestle and it will be for a long time.” [H/T – Ringside News]
It will be interesting to see who will be next in line to join the Jacksonville-based promotion.
