Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s domestic life in US comes to light

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s domestic dynamics have come to light!

It may just be no secret that growing up, the Duke of Sussex used to have a staff that included nannies, chefs and cleaners while growing up.

However, after 2020, when he and his wife, Markle, announced their exit from royal duties and left behind their life in the UK, Harry reportedly has a more down-to-earth approach to life now.

According to HELLO! magazine, Mindy Kaling, one of the Duchess’s closest celebrity friends, during the 2025 Golden Globes, gave insights into the royal couple’s daily life at home, explaining how the two share chores.

As the actress discussed Markle’s latest documentary, With Love, Meghan, featuring the former TV star cook delicious meals for celebrity friends, Kaling revealed that the Duke has own set of skills in the kitchen too.

“Harry was there,” she revealed of the documentary’s filming at the royal couple’s residence in Montecito.

Kaling added, “He didn’t cook for me, but I heard he’s actually a pretty good cook. He knows his way around a kitchen.”

Meghan Markle’s own domestic skills are no secret with her previously telling Good Housekeeping back in 2016, “There is nothing as delicious (or as impressive) as a perfectly roasted chicken. If you have an Ina Garten-level roasted chicken recipe, it’s a game changer. I bring that to dinner parties and make a lot of friends.”
