Prince William has been heavily praised by Donald Trump as the duo meet in France.

The Prince of Wales is lauded for his work in the monarchy as the new President of the United Stater, Donald Trump, land in Paris.

Both William and Trump, who attended the re-opening of Notre Dame today, met with a warm hand shake.

In a cordial approach, Prince William, 42, said “very good to see you,” to which Trump, 78, replied: “Nice to see you, woah, what a nice group (looking at the press). He’s a big man, this one (looking at Prince William).”

William later asked Trump if he had “warmed up” after the ceremony, to which he replied: “I haven’t warmed up yet [but] I had a good time, it was a beautiful ceremony.”

Pointing at William then; Trump said: “He’s doing a fantastic job, thank you.”

Royal expert has predicted that the Prince of Wales will keep a safe distance with the new American President.

Royal expert Hugo Vickers told The Sun: “I think the apolitical, soft diplomacy of the royal family is incredible.

“The late Queen was very good at that sort of thing, opening the way diplomatically.
